Universal IR repeater DA4339A-5 is used to extend the range of IR commands from the remote control to the receiver. This device is mainly used when you want to install any device that is not located directly in the area covered by the IR signal of its remote control.
Typical use of the DA4339A-5 is when placing the set-top box behind the TV, in a cabinet or drawer under the TV or for controlling one device from two different rooms or for use in a car or motorhome.
Features:
- USB power supply (5V) - can be plugged directly into the device or into an electrical outlet via a USB adapter, e.g. from a phone charger
- cable length from USB power supply to IR sensor (receiver) approx. 500 cm
- cable length from USB to IR transmitter approx. 150 cm
- passive analogue transmission, independent of the remote control code
- self-adhesive pads for mounting the IR sensor and repeater
