  1. Basic information

    1. As the data controller, your personal data is processed by VAT Electronic s.r.o., ID No.: 285 82 543, registered Ostrava, Těšínská 28/264, 716 00, registered in the Commercial Register kept at the Regional Court in Ostrava, Section C, Insert 33033 (hereinafter referred as the „Data controller“). All contact details of the Data controller can be found on the website www.remote-control-world.eu.
    2. The data controller processes the data that you provide.
      1. The data controller processes the necessary personal data, i.e. identification data (name and surname, residential office address, delivery address, registration number, VAT number) and contact data (e-mail and telephone number.)
      2. The data controller also processes any communication regarding the complaint or return of goods or other exercise of rights by the customer. The data controller processes data about your purchase and services provided.
      3. If you provide data of the third party to the data controller, it is your responsibility to inform such third parties about this fact.
    3. The data controller also processes data that are provided automatically. This includes the IP address when you visit our website, the time of access to our website, information about your browser, language settings, operating system, as well as data about the behavior on the website, e.g. which products are displayed to you.
    4. Data controller processes Cookies. Cookie settings can be modified at any time in the Privacy Settings.
  2. Camera system

    1. At the premises, address Korejská 724/15, 702 00 Ostrava, the data controller processes camera recordings for our protection to prove possible criminal activity.
    2. Both video and audio are recorded on the premises.
    3. The data controller shall keep the camera footage for a period of 14 days after the footage was taken.
    4. The operator of the camera system is Data controller.
  3. Purpose of processing your personal data

    1. The data controller processes your personal data for the purpose of providing the service.
      1. The primary purpose of processing personal data is the purchase of goods and services, i. e. for the purpose of concluding a purchase contract and delivering your order.
      2. The data controller also processes data for the purpose of providing quality customer care, i.e. handling complaints or other queries and problems from the customer. For this purpose, the data controller also processes online communication and SMS messages with the customer.
    2. The data controller also processes data for the purpose of exercising rights before public authorities, e.g. when exercising rights under a purchase contract in the even of non-payment of an order by the customer, etc.
    3. The data controller is obliged to process certain personal data directly by law (e.g. tax documents).
    4. The data controller does not process your personal data for marketing purposes. We do not send e-mails to customers or otherwise contact them to offer unsolicited goods or services.
      1. Customers who have not completed their order are sent an e-mail notifying them of this incomplete order.
  4. Authorization to process personal data

    1. In most cases, the acquisition and processing of personal data is necessary for the conclusion of the purchase contract and the subsequent performance of the contract. Your consent is not required for this processing.
    2. The data controller also processes personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest, i.e. for example, when we assert our claims.
    3. The data controller also processes personal data on the basis of a legal obligation.
    4. The data controller also processes personal data on the basis of your consent, for example in the case of the satisfaction questionnaire.
  5. Transfer of personal data to third parties

    1. In the following cases, the data controller transfers your personal data to third parties:
      1. Delivery of goods – for the purpose of delivery of goods, the data controller will communicate your personal data to the carrier. The data controller shall communicate to the carrier your personal data as you have provided them in the order, i.e. in particular your name, surname, delivery address and telephone number. The carrier is entitled to process this data only for the purpose of delivering the goods, after which is obliged to delete it.
      2. Camera recordings in the shop are processed by the Data controller according to Article II, paragraph II.4 of these conditions.
      3. In order to improve the quality of our services, we offer you the opportunity to fill in a satisfaction questionnaire with Heureka Group a.s., ID No.: 078 22 774, address Karolinská 706/3, Karlín, 186 00 Praha 8 (hereinafter referred to as „Heureka Group a.s.“). In this case, your personal data will only be transferred on the basis of your consent. If you give your consent, the data controller will forward to Heureka Group a.s. information about the goods you purchased and your e-mail address.
      4. On the basis of your consent, the data may also be provided to Seznam.cz, a.s., ID No.: 261 68 685, address Radlická 3294/10, Smíchov, 150 00 Praha 5 (hereinafter referred to as „Seznam.cz, a.s.“), also for the purpose of improving the quality of services provided by us. If you give your consent, the data controller will forward to Seznam.cz, a.s. information about your purchase of goods and your e-mail address.
    2. The data controller does not have details of the payment cards you use to pay for your order, as you only provide these to the payment gateway.
  6. Period of processing of personal data

    1. The data controller processes personal data for the entire duration of the contract.
    2. For data provided on the basis of your consent, the data controller processes the data for period of 2 years or until your consent is withdrawn.
    3. In the case of data that the data controller processes on the basis of a legal obligation, the processing period for such data is governed by the relevant legal provisions (e.g. tax documents).
    4. Cookies are deleted after 30 days. After this period, they are available in an anonymized form in Google Analytics.
    5. Camera recordings are kept for 14 days. If the CCTV footage is used to clarify criminal activity, it shall be kept until the final conclusion of the case.
  7. Your rights in relation to the protection of personal data

    1. You have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time, as well as the right to complete or correct the data, to request a restriction of tis processing, to object to or complain about the processing of your personal data. In certain cases, you also have the right to have your personal data erased.
    2. If you need to correct or update any of your personal information, you can contact us via e-mail orders@remote-control-world.eu.
    3. You have the right to ask the data controller to send you an overview of your personal data. The data controller will provide you with a copy of the processed data on the basis of this request.
      1. In the event of repeated or unjustified requests for an overview of your personal data, the data controller reserves the right to request payment of the costs involved in providing the information. The data controller also has the right to refuse to provide the data in such cases.
    4. In the following cases, you have the right to have your personal data deleted:
        • The data are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were processed.
        • You have withdrawn your consent to the processing of this personal data.
        • The data was processed unlawfully.
        • The data must be deleted in order to comply with legal obligations.
      1. The deletion will not occur for personal data that the data controller is obliged to keep by law (e.g. invoices).
      2. In case of a request for deletion of your personal data, please contact us by e-mail, telephone or at the address of your registered office or business premises.
    5. In the following cases, you have the possibility to request a restriction of the processing of your personal data:
      • You deny the accuracy of your personal data.
      • The data has been processed unlawfully, but you do not want the data deleted.
      • You need the data for the exercise of your rights and the data controller no longer needs the data for processing purposes.
      • You have raised an objection to the processing of personal data which has not yet been considered.
    6. In case of data processed on the basis of our legitimate interest, you may object to this processing if you consider that there are specific grounds for such objection.
    7. If you think that your personal data is being processed unlawfully by the data controller, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority. The leading supervisory authority is the Office for Personal Data Protection. We would be very pleased if you addressed such unlawful processing with us first, for example by e-mail or a phone call.
    8. In case you exercise any of the rights to the protection of your personal data, the data controller has the right to request proof of your identity.
