Pairing a replacement remote control with your device's motor:

1. Press and hold the programming button on the original already paired remote until the motor jerks.
2. On the purchased remote, select the channel you want to program the motor to using the bottom button.
3. Press and hold the programming button on the replacement remote until the motor jerks.
4. Now, the replacement remote is registered and will control the respective motor.

This is exactly the same remote control as the original. The only difference is that it does not have the SOMFY logo (that's the only reason it's cheaper). Otherwise, it is the same remote, high quality, reliability and transmitting distance exactly the same as the original remote control.
