The remote control is made of special soft plastic of nice hand feel. The remote control General GATE was tested, we can confirm that all buttons work properly and are easy to push even after a long use. Embedded buttons restrict unwanted switching in your pocket.

General GATE RF remote fully replaces any original original remote control with a frequency of 27 MHz to 40 MHz with both fixed and rolling codes.
- Only one single remote control could be used up for 4 different brands or models of different frequencies.
- Remote control works with both fixed and rolling codes.
- Multifrequency auto-scan remote control 27 - 40 MHz (even Hormann brand :-) ).
- Copying/cloning of the code/protocol from the original remote control.

How to copy the code from the original remote control:
- While holding button no. 1 pushed, press four times button no. 2 on the remote control General GATE.
- Release both buttons. LED diode flashes shortly approx. every 2 sec.
- Put the original remote control (2-3 centimetres) in the front of General GATE.
- Push and hold button you would like to copy on the original remote control. LED diode will flash quickly as a confirmation of successful copying of the code.
- While LED diode flashes quickly, push required button on General GATE. LED diode will light up and then it will switch off.
- 6a (Rolling code) Copy was successfully made. Now it is important to log the new remote control into the original receiving unit.6b (Fixed code) Copy was successfully made and it is ready to be used.
