Repair Description:
- This involves a complete repair of the remote control, including cleaning and regeneration of its contacts.
- The warranty period for the completed repair is 12 months.
Our repair success rate is over 95%. This is because we not only repair remote controls but also manufacture them since 2007. If we can't repair the remote for some reason, such as significant mechanical damage (e.g., broken, bitten by a dog), we will make a duplicate for you. We can read data from the non-functional remote's chip and transfer it to our chip. Hence, we'll deliver you a functionally identical remote with the same button labels, only in a different case.
The only thing we cannot repair is a damaged chip. This often happens after an improper repair attempt. Therefore, we advise against trying it yourself.
We also repair remotes that have been returned by other workshops as irreparable or after a previous amateur repair attempt. Surcharge for repairing a remote after a previous unsuccessful repair attempt: 5 - 10 EUR (depending on the extent of damage). We need to restore the remote's state first. In this case, you'll be informed in advance. You don't have to agree to the repair. If we can't fix the remote, you pay nothing for the repair, only the postage as per our official price list provided at the bottom of the page, or you can give your consent for eco-friendly disposal, and you pay nothing.
How to send the remote:
- Mail your remote control with a description of the fault in the accompanying letter - the more information you provide in the letter, the easier and faster it will be for us.
- It's best to send the remote in a padded envelope as a registered letter - the postage for a registered letter is much cheaper than a regular parcel. If you're particularly concerned about your remote, you can additionally wrap it in bubble wrap.
- We will return the repaired remote within 10 days to the address you provided. In exceptional cases, it may take longer, for example, if we have to order a special replacement part (usually, we have everything in stock) or during the main technician's summer vacation.
