You are ordering a remote control repair, not a new remote control!

Repair Description:

• This involves a complete repair of the remote control, including cleaning and regeneration of its contacts.
• The warranty period for the completed repair is 12 months.

Our repair success rate is over 95%. This is because we not only repair remote controls but also manufacture them since 2007. If we can't repair the remote for some reason, such as significant mechanical damage (e.g., broken, bitten by a dog), we will make a duplicate for you. We can read data from the non-functional remote's chip and transfer it to our chip. Hence, we'll deliver you a functionally identical remote with the same button labels, only in a different case.

The only thing we cannot repair is a damaged chip. This often happens after an improper repair attempt. Therefore, we advise against trying it yourself.

We also repair remotes that have been returned by other workshops as irreparable or after a previous amateur repair attempt. Surcharge for repairing a remote after a previous unsuccessful repair attempt: 5 - 10 EUR (depending on the extent of damage). We need to restore the remote's state first. In this case, you'll be informed in advance. You don't have to agree to the repair. If we can't fix the remote, you pay nothing for the repair, only the postage as per our official price list provided at the bottom of the page, or you can give your consent for eco-friendly disposal, and you pay nothing.

How to send the remote:

• Mail your remote control with a description of the fault in the accompanying letter - the more information you provide in the letter, the easier and faster it will be for us.
• It's best to send the remote in a padded envelope as a registered letter - the postage for a registered letter is much cheaper than a regular parcel. If you're particularly concerned about your remote, you can additionally wrap it in bubble wrap.
• We will return the repaired remote within 10 days to the address you provided. In exceptional cases, it may take longer, for example, if we have to order a special replacement part (usually, we have everything in stock) or during the main technician's summer vacation.

REPAIR PRICE:

• A) IR remote control: 14,30 - 22,30 EUR
• B) RF remote control: 26,50 - 34,50 EUR
• C) Atypical, unusual remote controls: 32,60 - 200 EUR

  This category is made for very special and unusual cases and devices. For example, we were able to repair an RF remote control for a caravan shift engine, remote control for bed for disabled people, RF remote control for a hydraulic press, this repair took our technician about 2 days straight and cost about 160 EUR in the end. The price for the original was about 2800 EUR and it was not available anymore. Thanks to the repair, we saved a press that costs hundreds of thousands EUR, because it’s not able to be used without the remote control at all.

• D) Fee for repairing a remote after a failed repair attempt: 5 - 10 EUR

  We need to put the remote control back to the previous state before repairing it. If the remote control was not damaged, you are not required to pay this fee at all.
