Brand new original remote control ZIGGO UPC Horizonbox TV Box.
It is a brand new ORIGINAL RF (radio) remote control, so it needs to be paired with the device (all radio remotes need pairing). The pairing method is very simple.
EASY START UP:
PAIRING the HORIZON remote control with the Device:
- Make sure that your Horizon box is switched on and that there is a clear sight between the Horizon box and the remote control.
- Turn the remote control so that the keyboard side is facing up.
- Press and hold the pairing key (see the back side of the remote control in the product picture gallery] for 10 seconds aiming at the Horizon box.
- If pairing is successful, a message to this effect will be displayed on your TV set.
If it was not succesfull then press "VOL-" and keep the button pressed; then press the source button simultaneously (top centre button). After approximately 5 seconds the TV standby button will flash red twice. Now release both buttons and type in 981, this will un-pair the remote. Start from the point 1) of the PAIRING process.
You an also return DEFAULT SETTING in the MAIN MENU if you have made any mistake. Teh DEFAULT SETTING anables you to reset the Horizon box to the default settings with the possibility of keeping or deleting the recordings stored on the Horizon box disk.

- Switch OFF the Horizon box
- Switch ON your television.
- First, on the HORIZON BOX remote control press both the VOL button and the TV Source button for 5 seconds until the TV ON/OFF button flashes 3 times
- Enter the TV brand code via the keypad within 10 seconds
- Point the Horizon remote control at your TV set and hold down the TV ON/OFF button for up to 1 min. until the TV turns off. If your TV does not turn off, repeat steps 2 to 5
- As soon as your TV has switched itself off, once again press theVOL button and the TV Source button until the TV ON/OFF button flashes 3 times.
